Temenos has completed its purchase of AI-enabled wealth orchestration platform additiv.
The transaction was announced in June 2026, when it was said that the consideration for 100% of additive is equally split between cash and equity.
Like Temenos, additive is also headquartered in Switzerland.
Additiv develops technology used by banks and wealth managers to create and roll out wealth offerings across the customer journey.
Its platform is used by financial institutions to shorten launch times, support advisor efficiency, manage investment offerings across platforms, and provide compliant and consistent client experiences at scale.
The company will continue to operate on a stand-alone basis under its founder-led management team.
According to Temenos, additiv's AI-based orchestration functions enhance its experience layer across digital and assisted channels, allowing financial institutions to link customer interactions, processes, data and applications more effectively throughout the customer journey.
In time, this is expected to allow Temenos to handle more advanced onboarding, origination and other workflows, extending the use of its products across higher-value banking customer journeys, it said.
Temenos said the deal fits its stated aim of reinforcing its wealth business and adding AI-enabled experience and orchestration functions linked to its core banking platform.
At the time of deal announcement, Temenos CEO and interim CFO Takis Spiliopoulos said: "This acquisition strengthens our Wealth proposition at a time when we see strong, growing demand for our products across tiers and geographies in the Wealth segment, with financial institutions increasingly focused on launching scalable hybrid wealth models.
"additiv's orchestration capabilities complement our market‑leading platform and support our strategy to help clients deliver personalised, regulatory compliant wealth services efficiently and at scale."
"Temenos finalises purchase of wealth platform additiv " was originally created and published by Private Banker International, a GlobalData owned brand.
