Stocks & Finance

Kraken Robotics (USOTC:KRKNF) announced $35 million in new product orders across maritime defense, offshore energy and ocean science customers, lifting its combined 2026 product orders to $327 million following the acquisition of Covelya Group.

Kraken Robotics secured $35 million in new orders across defense, offshore energy and ocean science markets.

Total combined 2026 product orders have reached $327 million for Kraken and Covelya.

Management expects product sales to account for more than 75% of consolidated revenue in 2026.

Demand continues to expand across sonar systems, subsea batteries, navigation technologies and autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) platforms.

Kraken Robotics (USOTC:KRKNF) highlighted multiple future growth opportunities in defense, offshore energy and carbon capture monitoring.

Kraken Robotics reported continued order momentum with $35 million in new contracts spanning navigation and positioning systems, multi-aperture sonar, Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS), and monitoring technologies.

The latest awards increase the company's total announced product orders for 2026 to $327 million on a combined basis with Covelya, which Kraken acquired on July 2, 2026.

Management said demand has been driven by growing adoption of SeaPower subsea batteries, SAS technology, navigation systems and advanced sonar products across defense and offshore energy customers. The company's technologies are integrated into more than 30 autonomous underwater vehicle platforms worldwide, while also supporting ships, submarines, remotely operated vehicles and unattended seabed systems.

Kraken also outlined expanding opportunities across several product categories, including harbor security sonar, mine countermeasure systems, navigation equipment, forward-looking sonar and optical imaging payloads.

In offshore energy, the company highlighted progress in emerging applications such as autonomous ocean-bottom seismic nodes for offshore oil fields and environmental monitoring systems supporting carbon capture and storage projects.

The announcement reinforces Kraken Robotics' position in several long-term marine technology markets where demand continues to broaden across both defense and commercial customers.

The growing order book provides additional visibility into future product revenue while demonstrating demand across a diversified portfolio rather than a single product line. Management also indicated that product sales are expected to represent more than three-quarters of consolidated revenue in 2026, reflecting an increasing emphasis on scalable technology sales.
